I’m a licensed psychotherapist. People ask for my advice on all aspects of life. I’m a new genus of therapists- mixing Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Psychodynamic therapy to get the resolution you want. And I love what I do. With a relationship based on trust, respect, and empathy, my goal is to help you create a different view of life- to change faulty thinking, get past old schemas, and resolve current issues that get in the way of your own personal growth and joy in life. Let’s work on breaking destructive patterns, thoughts, and actions through gained strength, empathy and resolution.
I specialize in many areas including anxiety, depression, anger management, couples counseling, personality/mood disorders, food disorders, phobias, addiction, abuse, family therapy and everyday life issues. With empathy and resolve, I can help guide you toward a solution for you to live a satisfying and purposeful life.
I am an award-winning writer and co-write an advice column, Twice the Advice. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who graduated from Hunter College with Honors. And I’m a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
